TAO (Third Age Online)

TAO” stands for the Chinese character meaning “way”, “method” as well as for “Third Age Online”. The main target of WMCH in this project is to facilitated the access of older persons to the opportunities offered by online communities like Wikimedia community.

Valdensia

The ''Valdensia'' project is the result of a collaboration between the BCU Lausanne and Wikimedia CH. The goal of this project is to automatically upload, in the french version of Wikipedia, 800 biographies of personnalities from the canton of Vaud, originally stored on a server of the BCU.

Wikimedia CH - Association for the advancement of free knowledge is a non-profit association aimed to support the free dissemination of knowledge in Switzerland, including projects hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation, of which the free encyclopedia Wikipedia , the multimedia database Wikimedia Commons , the collection of educational texts Wikibooks , the news portal Wikinews , the collection of quotations Wikiquote or the collection of books Wikisource .
