Wikimedia CH is a swiss non profit organisation which supports the projects of the Wikimedia Foundation: Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, Wiktionary, the free dictionary, Wikimedia Commons, the free multimedia database, and many more.
What we want
Wikimedia CH wishes equal opportunities with regards to the access to free knowledge. That's why we promote the creation, collection and dissemination of free knowledge in digital and printed form.
What we do
Wikimedia CH supports people and institutions, who/which contribute to Wikipedia and its sister projects. We host workshops, advise libraries, archives and museums, finance projects or provide technical equipment.
How we are funded
The work of Wikimedia CH is exclusively funded through donations and membership fees. This guarantees that Wikipedia and its sister projects stay free from advertisement and independent.
